"If you're an ASP.NET or SharePoint developer, SmartPart for SharePoint is an active project out on Gotdotnet Workspaces that is definitely worth a look. Yesterday, Jan Tielens, one of the workspace owners, released Son of SmartPart v1.0.

Son of SmartPart (download under Releases) enables you to run ASP.NET 2.0 UserControls and WebParts in SPS 2.0! For the attention-impaired, like me, Jan posted an instructive screencast of the setup steps required to use Son of SmartParts on your SharePoint."

If you want change the default browser for your Web Projects in Visual Studio 2005, you can do this very easy:

Right-click one of your .aspx files inside the solution explorer and click on "Browse with...":

Then click the "Add" button and browse for the executable of your desired web browser:

If you want to persist this browser as your default browser within Visual Studio 2005, just click the "Set as Default" button:

In addition to the WinFX November CTP, Microsoft has released the Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation Beta 1.2 for Microsoft Pre-Release Software WinFX® Runtime Components - November Community Technology Preview (CTP).

The Visual Studio 2005 Extensions for Windows Workflow Foundation are required for customers who are designing workflows in Visual Studio 2005 and/or require the Windows Workflow Foundation SDK.

Microsoft has released a new WinFX CTP which works with the Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0 RTM.

First, you have to remove (uninstall tool) any previous release followed downloading by and installing the new WinFX runtime bits, the SDK and the support for Visual Studio
