Am Dienstag den 28.03.2006 findet von 16-17 Uhr ein Webcast von Hannes Preishuber zum Thema RSS-Optimierung unter ASP.NET 2.0 statt. Ein RSS-Feed ist mit ASP.NET 2.0 sehr leicht und schnell zu erstellen. Dieser Webcast geht aber tiefer und implementiert ein RSS-Steuerelement nach allen Regeln der HTTP-Kunst. Das fertige Steuerelement kann dann in eine ASP.NET-2.0-Webseite eingebaut werden.

Ich bin gespannt, was uns diese Technologie noch so alles bringt...

Seit einigen Tagen ist die MVP.Xml Library 1.0 verfügbar. Wie der Name bereits vermuten lässt, stellt sie eine Entwicklung von Microsoft MVP's dar und erweitert den System.Xml-Namespace des .NET Frameworks um viele nützliche Features, wie z.B. den XmlFragmentStream, der es erlaubt, XML-Files zu laden, die nur XML-Fragmente und kein komplettes XML-Dokument beinhalten.

Weiterhin bietet die Library Unterstützung für XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.0 sowie das XPointer Framework des W3C.

Die Liste der MSDN-Blogger wächst und wächst. Neuestes Mitglied: das XmlTeam WebLog. Geplante Themen:

• System.Xml
• MSXML
• SQLXML

Um es kurz zu machen: verwendet man XHTML mit o.g. Browsern, sollte man tunlichst darauf achten, dass diese Browser hinsichtlich der CSS-ID und class-Definitionen CASE SENSITIVE sind - danke für die letzten Stunden.....

Vielleicht sollte ich es besser damit versuchen ;-)

makes use of two techniques – XPath crawling, and Booleanization of XPath queries. Using this attack, it is possible to get hold of the XML “database” used in the XPath query.

This can be most powerful against sites that use XPath queries (and XML
“databases”) for authentication, searching, and other uses."
